Zola Jesus Announces 'Okovi'!

Ahhh, I am always in the mood for some aggressive-beat pop! Returning to Sacred Bones Records, Zola Jesus is releasing her newest album, Okovi, in September. I've been a bit wrapped up in the more accessible side to pop so far this year, so this album will be a welcome change of pace, especially with the prolific sound of first single, Exhumed. Something about that song just gets my blood flowing, which is always a good thing! It possesses the more abrasive approach to pop, but creates a distinct aura with the choral vocals in the background. Needless to say, I'm fairly excited to get my hands on this record later this year!
