UPDATE: Frank Ocean Finally Releases His New Album, 'Blonde'!

Well, it's not Boys Don't Cry, but it is a whole new album of Frank Ocean tunes! Just under a different name. Titled Blonde, this new album follows a visual album, called Endless, which was released just prior to Blonde on Apple Music. The eagerly anticipated effort released on Apple Music and iTunes over the weekend.

Having heard the album in its entirety, it certainly marks an interesting shift in sound for Frank, as he explores more lush instrumentals and mellow tones, while writing more penetrating personal lyrics. I'm hoping to review this album in the coming days, but it's a bit of a departure from his previous album, channel ORANGE, so I want to make sure I take the time to digest it and develop proper insights.

Until then, I do recommend listening to it. It's quite a laid back album, so it's perfect if you're just settling in for the evening or if you're just wanting something more subdued to listen to. Check it out!
